Microsoft Office 365 is Microsoft’s fastest growing commercial product ever. The Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competency enables you to capitalize on the demand from the small and midmarket customer marketplace for cloud and hybrid solutions built on Microsoft Office 365, providing you with additional support and incentives as you grow your business.

    Requirements

    1. 1. Meet performance requirement
      • You must have sold 40 seats of Microsoft Office 365 with at least 4 new customers within the previous 12 months.
      • Partner will need to be attached as the Office 365 sales partner of record to qualify.
    2. 2. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must submit three Microsoft Office 365 customer references within the previous 12 months. After a reference has been approved, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years.
    3. 3. Pay the fee
      • To help you invest in your future, this silver competency fee is no cost through June 30, 2016.

    1. 1. Meet performance requirement
      • You must have sold 250 seats of Microsoft Office 365 with at least 25 new customers within the previous 12 months.
      • Partner will need to be attached as the Office 365 sales partner of record to qualify.
    2. 2. Pass technical assessments, exams, and certifications
      • One person must pass the following exam:
      • Your organization can attain multiple competencies. If your employees or contractors pass the eligible competency exams for multiple gold competencies, you can count those exams toward attaining multiple gold competencies.
      • Training content for the exams and certifications can be found on Partner University learning paths.
    3. 3. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must submit five Microsoft Office 365 customer references within the previous 12 months. After a reference has been approved, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years.
    4. 4. Pay the fee
      • The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many additional competencies your organization earns. The fee varies by location. The fee will be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.
      • Partners who attain a gold competency after they have already attained that silver competency, can upgrade that year to gold for no additional cost (unless a partner is within the last 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due).
