    1. 1. Pass a qualifying exam or certification
      • Two individuals each must pass one of the following:
        • Exam 70-671: Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Small and Medium Organizations
        • Exam 70-672: Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations

        Your organization can attain multiple competencies. If your employees or contractors pass the eligible competency exams for multiple silver competencies, you can count those exams toward attaining multiple silver competencies.

    2. 2. Complete your organization’s profile
      • Your Microsoft Partner Network account administrator must provide pertinent information about your organization.
    3. 3. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have three customer references that feature how, within the previous 12 months, you have provided solutions based on the products and technologies associated with this competency. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years. Review a sample customer reference email that can be used for customer references for this competency.
    4. 4. Pay the silver competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the silver competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your organization earns. The fee varies by location. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be [%silverprice%] [%currency%], not including applicable local taxes and fees. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

    1. 1. Pass a qualifying exam or certification
      • Four unique individuals each must pass one of the following:
        • Exam 70-671: Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Small and Medium Organizations
        • Exam 70-672: Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations

        Two of these individuals each must pass the following:
        • Enterprise Agreement Life Cycle Process: Year 1
        • Enterprise Agreement Life Cycle Process: Year 2
        • Enterprise Agreement Life Cycle Process: Year 3

        Your employees and contractors may take and pass multiple gold competency exams. However, if your organization employs or contracts with someone who holds multiple certifications, that person’s credentials will count toward only one gold competency.

    2. 2. Complete your organization’s profile
      • Your Microsoft Partner Network account administrator must provide pertinent information about your organization.
    3. 3. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have five customer references that feature how, within the previous 12 months, you have provided solutions based on the products and technologies associated with this competency. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years.     5. 5. Meet a revenue goal
      • Microsoft Partner Network members with a gold competency must meet a minimum revenue goal based on your organization’s location and the requirements for this competency.
    6. 6. Pay the gold competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the gold competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your company earns. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be [%goldprice%] [%currency%], not including applicable local taxes and fees. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company. If you attain a gold competency after first attaining a silver competency, then you pay only the difference between the two membership fees, unless you are within the 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due.
