The Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competency enables you to capitalize on the demand from the small and midmarket customer marketplace for cloud and hybrid solutions built on Microsoft Office 365, providing you with additional support and incentives as you grow your business.

    Requirements
    Silver Gold
    1. 1. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have three Microsoft Office 365 customer references within the previous 12 months. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years. Review a sample customer reference email that can be used for customer references for this competency.
    2. 2. Cloud performance requirement
      • You must have sold 150 seats of Microsoft Office 365 with at least 10 new customers within the previous 12 months.

        NOTE: Partner will need to be partner of record to apply their Office 365 sales towards their cloud competencies.
    3. 3. Silver competency fee
      • To help you invest in your future, this silver competency fee is no cost (through June 30, 2016).

    1. 1. Pass a qualifying exam or certification
      • Two individuals must each pass the following:
        Exam 70-347: Enabling Office 365 Services

      • Use Microsoft partner learning paths to find details about related exams, assessments, and readiness.
    2. 2. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have five Microsoft Office 365 customer references within the previous 12 months. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years. Review a sample customer reference email that can be used for customer references for this competency.
    3. 3. Cloud performance requirement
      • You must have sold 300 seats of Microsoft Office 365 with at least 30 new customers within the previous 12 months.

        NOTE: Partner will need to be partner of record to apply their Office 365 sales towards their cloud competencies.
    4. 4. Gold competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the gold competency fee. One fee is due one time per year—no matter how many additional competencies your organization earns. The fee varies by location. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be [%cloudgoldprice%] [%currency%], not including applicable local taxes and fees. The fee will be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

        Partners who attain a gold competency after they have already attained that silver competency, can upgrade that year to gold for no additional cost (unless a partner is within the last 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due).
