Toronto welcomes partners
The cosmopolitan capital of Ontario, Toronto is known for its international appeal, booming and burgeoning tech scene, and world-class dining. For the Microsoft partners that will head there in 2016, where better to discuss the many opportunities for new profitability in the IT industry than in a city that embodies such rapid growth?
Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)
The only facility in the world that has hosted both a G20 and a G7 Summit, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre features expansive exhibition space, a host of restaurants and entertainment options within walking distance, and will be the site of the 2016 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.
For travelers from the United States, a valid U.S. passport is required for entry to Canada when en route to WPC 2016. If you do not have a passport or your passport is close to expiring, we highly recommend that you begin the process of acquiring or renewing your passport immediately to ensure your documentation arrives on time. Instructions on how to apply for a passport can be found here.
Airport Information
Toronto is served by several major airports to make your arrival as easy as possible.

Toronto Pearson International Airport: Roughly 17 miles (27 kilometers) from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Toronto Pearson International Airport is Canada’s largest airport and will be the primary hub for flights traveling in and out of Toronto for WPC 2016.

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport: Formerly known as Toronto City Centre Airport, the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport services primarily air travel from the U.S. and Canada, but also hosts flights from 80 international locations. At only just under 2 miles (3 kilometers) to the Convention Center, you can walk from the airport straight to WPC 2016 through the brand new tunnel built for pedestrians.
