    1. 1. Pass a qualifying exam or certification, or test your application
      • Value-Added Reseller (VAR) track

        At least three individuals collectively must pass all of the following (all individuals must pass at least one exam:

      • Exam MB2-703: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Customization and Configuration
      • Exam MB2-868: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Applications
      OR
      • Exam MB2-700: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Applications
      • Exam MB2-867: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation and Deployment
      OR
      • Exam MB2-702: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Installation and Deployment

      Two individuals must pass one of the following:
      • Exam MB5-858: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations Certification Exam
      • Exam MB5-705: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations

      Your organization can attain multiple competencies. If your employees or contractors pass the eligible competency exams for multiple silver competencies, you can count those exams toward attaining multiple silver competencies.

      Application track
      Your organization must deliver a product or application that has passed the competency test for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013.

      At least three individuals collectively must pass all of the following (all individuals must pass at least one exam):

      • Exam MB2-703: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Customization and Configuration

      • Exam MB2-867: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation and Deployment
      OR
      • Exam MB2-702: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Installation and Deployment

      One individual must pass one of the following:
      • Exam MB5-858: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations Certification Exam
      • Exam MB5-705: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations

      Qualifying gold application tests are also valid toward earning the Silver Customer Relationship Management competency.

      Qualifying applications include developed and marketed, packaged software solutions based on Microsoft technologies. Custom-written applications not meant for resale do not qualify.

    2. 2. Pass the sales assessment (VAR track only)
      • One individual must pass one of the following:

        2011 Sales Specialist Assessment for Customer Relationship Management

        One individual must pass the following:
        Presales Technical Specialist Assessment for CRM 2011
    3. 3. Complete your organization’s profile
      • Your Microsoft Partner Network account administrator must provide pertinent information about your organization.
    4. 4. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have three unique customer references that feature how, within the previous 12 months, you have provided solutions based on the products and technologies associated with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM competency. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years. Review a sample customer reference email that can be used for customer references for this competency.
    5. 5. Meet a revenue goal
      • Microsoft Partner Network members with a silver competency must meet a minimum revenue or seat-count goal based on your market and track.

        VAR track
        • Market A: Minimum annual count of 150 seats or US$100,000
        • Markets B and C: Minimum annual count of 75 seats or US$50,000

        Application track
        • Market A: US$400,000 total annual gross revenue
        • Markets B and C: US$200,000 total annual gross revenue

        For more details about market A, B, and C designations, refer to the country groupings section in the Microsoft Gold Competency Revenue Guidelines document. Note that country groupings are the same for silver or gold competencies.
    6. 6. Pay the silver competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the silver competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your organization earns. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

            Your employees and contractors may take and pass multiple gold competency exams. However, if your organization employs or contracts with someone who holds multiple certifications, that person’s credentials will count toward only one gold competency.

            Your organization must deliver a product or application that has passed the competency test for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013.

        7. 7. Pay the gold competency fee
          • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the gold competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your company earns. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be [%goldprice%] [%currency%], not including applicable local taxes and fees. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company. If you attain a gold competency after first attaining a silver competency, then you pay only the difference between the two membership fees, unless you are within the 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due.
