Small Business competency requirements overview

Important notice: Microsoft Office 365 exam change

In response to partner feedback and to ensure that exam requirements align with the needs of small-business customers, the mandatory Microsoft Office 365 exam for the Microsoft Small Business competency is now Exam 74-324: Administering Office 365 for Small Business. This replaces Exam 70-323: Administering Office 365.

Note: If you have previously taken either Exam 70-323: Administering Office 365 or Exam 70-321: Deploying Office 365, it will remain valid for your organization to qualify for this competency. However, if your organization is working to attain the Small Business competency, it is recommended that someone at your company take Exam 74-324.

Compare silver competency and gold competency requirements

Silver competencies offer a clear path to help you showcase your skill set in today’s competitive environment.

Gold competencies demonstrate your best-in-class capability within a specific solution area and can provide the greatest differentiation for your company.

A portfolio of competencies—including silver and gold, and across solution areas—can result in greater cross-sell opportunities as you attain expertise on a wider range of products and emerging technologies.
