    1. 1. Pass technical assessments, exams and certifications:
      • Services track

        Two individuals each must pass one of the following:
        • Exam 70-331: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, Core Solutions
        • Exam 70-332: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, Advanced Solutions
        • Exam 70-488: Core Solutions of SharePoint 2013 Development
        • Exam 70-489: Advanced Solutions of SharePoint 2013 Development
        • Exam 70-573: TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development
        • Exam 70-576: PRO: Designing and Developing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Applications
        • MCSD: SharePoint Applications
        • MCSE: SharePoint
        • MCSM: SharePoint
        • MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010

        Your organization must submit one application that passes the following:

    2. 2. Pass business assessments
      • One individual must pass the following:
        • The Collaboration and Content sales assessment

        One individual must pass the following:
        • The Collaboration and Content Presales technical assessment
    3. 3. Complete your organization’s profile
      • Your Microsoft Partner Network account administrator must provide pertinent information about your organization.
    4. 4. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have three customer references that feature how, within the previous 12 months, you have provided solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, or Microsoft SharePoint Online. After a reference has been approved by your customer and by Microsoft, it can be used toward earning or renewing a competency for up to two years. Review a sample customer reference email that can be used for customer references for this competency.

    5. 5. Pay the silver competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the silver competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your organization earns. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

        • Exam 70-331: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, Core Solutions
        • Exam 70-332: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013, Advanced Solutions

        OR have one of these certifications:
        • MCSE: SharePoint
        • MCSM: SharePoint

        Another two unique individuals each must pass two exams from the following:
        • Exam 70-488: Core Solutions of SharePoint 2013 Development, or 70-573: TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development
        • Exam 70-489: Advanced Solutions of SharePoint 2013 Development, or 70-576: PRO: Designing and Developing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Applications

        OR have one of these certifications:
        • MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010
        • MCSD: SharePoint Applications

      • Partners who attain a gold competency after they have already attained that silver competency, can upgrade that year to gold for no additional cost (unless a partner is within the last 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due).
