Partner advisory hours are the currency used to access certain key services offered to Microsoft Partner Network members. Use your hours to help you build your skill set with training powered by Microsoft Services, and get customized guidance for competing, developing, and deploying solutions for your customers.

Sharpen your skills with training for the latest Microsoft technologies. Partner learning paths provide a training roadmap that can help you reach your particular goals. After you select a path, you can add it to a learning plan to help you track your progress toward achieving your goals. Many of the trainings powered by Microsoft Services are available at no cost, while select offerings will consume your advisory hours.

Practice Accelerator

Expand your customer base and provide consistent customer experiences as you build your services practice around Microsoft technologies. Use Practice Accelerator, a comprehensive set of reusable tools and best practices, to help you identify customer requirements and project scope, analyze customer needs, and deploy solutions.

Practice Accelerator provides a detailed framework of resources, spanning from pre-engagement to post-delivery. The complete documentation set includes project guides, templates, architecture guidance, and planning and design guides. You will also receive customizable leave-behind materials for your customers.

Chalk Talks

Bring your questions to these fully interactive sessions to become more knowledgeable about Microsoft products and technologies. Chalk Talks are free-form sessions, facilitated by whiteboard interactions that allow you to ask questions and receive real-time feedback from the Microsoft Services team. Each Chalk Talk session is limited to a small group of participants, which allows for group discussion and interactions around specific topics.

Present your own scenarios to Microsoft experts and receive tailored advice about how to proceed with your customers. You will also have the opportunity to learn from other partners’ scenarios.

Technical Presales Assistance

Find the technical information you need to close more deals. Partners who have attained a silver or gold competency receive unlimited presales advisory support for any deal worth US$3,000 or more. For deals worth less than US$3,000, you can access Technical Presales Assistance by phone using your allotted partner advisory hours or through the Partner Support Community.
