    1. 1. Pass a qualifying exam or certification
    2. 2. Meet the KPIs
    3. 3. Pass the Learning competency sales and marketing assessment
    4. 4. Submit a business-focused application
      • Partners that are new to the Learning competency must complete the business application template, and submit for approval by following instructions in the document.
    5. 5. Complete your organization’s profile
      • Your Microsoft Partner Network account administrator must provide pertinent information about your organization.
    6. 6. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have three customer references that feature how you have conducted training solutions. If you are new to the Learning competency, your references should focus on training you provided within the past 12 months for either a private, solution-offerings training engagement with a medium-business or enterprise customer or a public, open-enrollment training engagement that is tailored to users or career changers.
    7. 7. Register for Metrics that Matter
      • You must also register for a Metrics that Matter account within 90 days of earning the Learning competency to collect student evaluations. If you are renewing your membership in the Silver Learning competency, you must implement and use Metrics that Matter.
    8. 8. Pay the silver competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the silver competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your organization earns. The fee varies by location. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be [%silverprice%] [%currency%], not including applicable local taxes and fees. This fee will also be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

    1. 1. Enroll in the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) as a Silver Learning competency partner
      • Satisfy the silver requirements, including completion of your organization’s profile.
    2. 2. Pass a qualifying exam or certification
    3. 3. Meet the KPIs
    4. 4. Pass the Learning competency sales and marketing assessment
    5. 5. Create a Partner Business Plan
      • Your organization must provide a Microsoft approved annual Gold Learning Partner Business Plan.
    6. 6. Provide customer evidence
      • Your organization must have five customer references that feature how you have conducted training solutions. Your references should focus on training you provided within the past 12 months for either a private, solution-offerings training engagement with a medium-business or enterprise customer or a public, open-enrollment training engagement that is tailored to users or career changers.
    7. 7. Gather customer feedback
      • Your organization must use the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Index survey to measure performance and help drive customer satisfaction. If you are renewing your membership in the Gold Learning competency, you must implement and use Metrics that Matter to collect student evaluations to meet the CSAT requirement.
    8. 8. Pay the gold competency fee
      • To complete your enrollment in the competency, you must pay the gold competency fee. The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your company earns. According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be

Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company. If you attain a gold competency after first attaining a silver competency, then you pay only the difference between the two membership fees, unless you are within the 90-day renewal period, in which case the full gold competency membership fee is due.
